If you are cooking whole cabbage on stove top or larger sections of cabbage, it could take longer time to cook depending on how big the cabbage pieces are. It's super easy to cook shredded cabbage and so when I want something quick and easy using cabbage, I always shred the cabbage which can be cooked so fast in a large frying pan or skillet. In this recipe, you just need to roughly shred the cabbage using a good quality knife or cabbage shredder. It's best to shred the cabbage in medium sized pieces for the best texture and easy cooking.
