Ingredients used:

cauliflower 16 oz (fresh or frozen)

salt adjust to taste

pepper ½ teaspoon

paprika ½ teaspoon

garlic powder 1 teaspoon

onion powder ½ teaspoon

oil 2 tablespoon

soy sauce 1 tablespoon

curry leaves or cilantro a few leaves (optional)

Step by step instructions

Add the cauliflower florets to a large frying pan or skillet, if you are using frozen cauliflower, cook in medium low heat until the water content evaporates.

If using fresh cauliflower which is dry and do not have any water in it, you can proceed to add remaining ingredients.

Add salt and oil, mix well to combine with the cauliflower (Keep in mind not to add oil if the water is not evaporated from frozen cauliflower or if there is any water content left from washing cauliflowe. Add the oil only once any water content in the cauliflower is evaporated).

Saute the cauliflower for 2 to 3 minutes until the cauliflower is lightly fried on the outside.

Cover the pan with lid and cook in low heat for another 3 to 4 minutes until cauliflower is cooked and tender.

Once the cauliflower is cooked, add the spices & soy sauce and also add curry leaves or cilantro (if using) stir to combine and saute for another 1 more minute.

Turn off the heat and transfer the cooked cauliflower to a serving dish.

Serve hot as a simple, delicious vegetable side dish with any meals like lunch or dinner!
